Warren began playing Tuba at the age of 11. Over the years, he developed his skills further through participation in the Drum Corp International program. He gained performance experience in the classical sphere by playing at such venues as The Tobin Center and working under professionals such as Frank John. Though Warren can teach many different genres of music, his musical personal favorites are Classical and Blues which had a great influence on his style of playing. Warren loves teaching music because it allows others to become as inspired as he is. Warren can help you expand and enhance your playing. I bring a relaxed but focused energy to lessons. My goal is not simply to improve playing one etude or solo but to be able to apply skills learned to every other piece of music encountered. Expect consistent development through an etude book on top of a main goal (All-State, UIL or recreational solos) and exercises in fundamentals and good low brass habits.
