About Me

Hi, my name is Nicole and I am a talented singer, songwriter and dancer and I grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota Home of The Purple Prince himself Prince Rogers Nelson. I lived in Boston Massachusetts where my musical influences and performing took off. I have been a lover of music for several years. My musical influences include Pop music genres, as well as such performers as John Lennon, Prince, and several other artists and musicians. I also enjoy teaching not only singing and dance, but also performing and overcoming stage fright. While living in Boston I began to record my first album under an Indy agency. I grew up with friends in the industry such as Joe McIntyre, NKOTB, Kids Incorporated and SAG Aftra actress and Choreographer Andrea Wilson. My teaching style can best be described as creative and fun because that’s what Music and performing is while influencing and stressing the hard work that goes into this industry. I performed, wrote songs, and sung my heart out while continuing to do today.. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that dedication is key and knowing what it is you are wanting and where your voice is able to take you. n my lessons, you can expect to learn Tone, melody, style, performance and overcoming stage fright, genres, etc.. I like to tell my students that if you’re not having fun and being open and creative then you will not enjoy the gift of giving your voice and talent and have others feel your energy and enthusiasm for the craft. My favorite thing about teaching is passing on that energy and enthusiasm for learning and succeeding in a competitive industry. My favorite performance was when I sang for the first time in a front of a group of patrons and having Joe McIntyre come up grab the microphone and begin singing duet songs.. My students love that I am full of energy and passionate about music. I primarily teach pop and other genres, but I can also teach dance, songwriting, performing and stage presence and expression. My approach as a teacher is to embrace the students ability by seeing where they are at finding out their goals and then diving in at a pace that is comfortable for the student.
