Hi, my name is Nicholas and I am a saxophonist originally from Parkland FL. I first picked up the saxophone on my 12th birthday. I played all throughout middle and high school, eventually earning my bachelors degree in classical saxophone performance from the esteemed University of Miami Frost School of Music. I completed all of the coursework for my masters degree in saxophone performance and am currently awaiting my degree, also from the Frost School of Music. My teaching style can best be described as patient, encouraging, and inspiring. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I want to help my students not only gain a technical proficiency over the instrument, but also help them find their own artistic voice. My favorite thing about teaching is watching my students overcome the difficulties inherent to playing music. I primarily teach classical saxophone, but I can also teach music theory.
