About Me

Travis has always loved music from an early age. He began playing piano at the age of 13 and continued his education by going to college for a degree in music, joining bands of various genres, playing in venues across DFW, and mastering music theory, production, engineering, and the fundamentals of bass, guitar, and piano. His musical influences include Stevie Wonder, Kevin Parker, ELP, and Chick Corea. Travis's favorite thing about music is its universal ability to sustain through time and uplift one from any state and his favorite thing about teaching music is the joy of seeing others made progress and become inspired. One of his favorite teaching experiences was when a Hispanic student came and though he wasn’t fluent in their language, he was still able to communicate well enough to make a huge impact on their understanding of music and they lit up and went on to improve quite a bit.
