I learned how to play guitar by myself at the age of 13. I was really into metal at a young age so I would be trying to learn AC/DC, System of a Down, Slayer and Marilyn Manson. I also like to play video games so I would try to learn like the theme song from Mortal Kombat or some Doom. Either way, I had fun learning it by myself and I could teach you guys how I did it. It's exactly like Guitar Hero. I taught my little brother and my best friend what to look for in learning the guitar and now they just can't stop playing haha. If you stick with me, it'll be just one lesson and you'll be good to go. If you decide to contact me again, it'll most likely just be me asking what songs you would like to learn and we can go from there :
