About Me

Hello! My name is Isaiah, and I have been playing the double bass for almost 12 years! Throughout high school and college, I played in every ensemble with the bass that I could, including symphony orchestras, chamber ensembles, jazz combos, and solo recitals! I have also played the electric bass for 11 years, with experiences in rock bands, pit bands for broadway-like shows, funk jazz, and more! I am also proficient in playing Guitarron, Vihuela, and Classical guitar in a mariachi setting if you are interested in exploring those realms! I just completed my degree in Bachelor of Music Performance from Baylor University, and so I am able to offer teaching services to any level of playing! Here are some of my favorite bands/music genres: Creedence Clearwater Revival The Mama’s and the Papas The Eagles Foreigner 80’s, 90’s, and early 2000’s rock/pop A variety of metal music Mariachi Music My goal is to understand and help you reach your aspirations and musical needs, so anything you want to play, no matter the genre or style, I promise that I can help you!
