Hi, my name is Felipe and I am a drummer from San Diego. I have been a student of music for 4 years. My musical influences include Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Led Zepplin, Slayer, Slipnot, Anderson Paak, and Yellow Days and I also enjoy jazz. My teaching style can best be described as expressive. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying to enjoy the journey. In my lessons, you can expect to learn based off your goals. I like to tell my students to go with the flow of the music and ride it out mistakes will happen. My favorite thing about teaching is the progress I see the students going from zero to no drumming skills to an absolute beast behind the kit. My favorite performance was Dave Brubecks "Take Five". My students love that I make things easy for them to learn. My approach as a teacher is to allow you to express yourself as much as possible and enjoy the the journey.
