He began playing drums at the age of 13 and has played professionally for 10 years, touring the country in various rock and roll bands and doing recording session work for artists of various genres. His musical influences include The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Sly & The Family Stone, Sturgill Simpson, Black Sabbath and Mastodon.
