I was in a jazz band for two years at Martin High School. (I was awarded best jazz talent guitar:national jazz educators association) 

I had two years of jazz ensemble instrucation from director Rick Stitzel.

I had one year at Rainbow Music and had to different teachers, Shawn Lackey and Daryll Abbott.

I was also taught basic sight reading and commercial jingle writing by John Dosher and had him for six months.

From 1997-2000 I was in Mulligan, Steamshovel(progressive rock) and played at Skippys Mistake,  Grapefest, Everman summer festical and J. Gilligans.

From 2003-2005 I was in Junk Science (80s retro style original rock) and played in various venues around DFW.

Since 2011 I've been in The Bible Fireplayed (mainstream rock) and performed at a sponsered event at Lolas Saloon,  and The Door.

I have over fifteen years experience in teaching and have taught people from age 10 to adult. I've taught various styles: Rock, country, metal, beginning jazz, blues, reggae, folk rock, and classics.
