Tyler began playing guitar at the age of 10! Over the years, he developed his skills further by attending WTAMU for music composition. He gained performance experience in the Amarillo area by playing at such venues as Goldenlight, leftwoods, the lumberyard and with acts such as Oddfellas, Cade Holliday and Black Tie Revolt Though Tyler can teach many different genres of music, his musical personal favorites are rock, blues and country which had great influence on his style of playing. Tyler loves music because it’s a language that speaks to everyone and loves teaching music because he enjoys watching the spark he has for music ignited in a student!
