I began playing music at the age of 12. I got my start on drums, but I gravitated to bass guitar around the age of 24/25. Since then, I’ve put all of my focus on mastering my craft and continuing to learn and grow on my instrument. My motto is “You never stop learning!” I play many different genres of music from gospel, blues/southern soul, country and jazz. My experience includes playing for many churches from the Mississippi Delta and surrounding areas to the Olive Branch/Memphis area where I now reside, performing on Beale Street Memphis, TN, and currently playing bass guitar for the southern soul group Jay Morris Group. Although I am a self taught musician, my experience, skill, and passion for teaching others makes me the right person to help you reach your goals as a bass player!
