At eight years old, I started singing Gospel specials in church and writing music. God and Music were the only things that really kept me going through hard times. When I turned sixteen I picked up the  guitar and taught my self chords and etc. In Middle school I played the French Horn all the way through most of High-school. I was always first chair in symphonic band and made region and State one year.I know how to read music which is a great help. At age seventeen, I saved up money for a First Act drum set which I taught myself as well.I have played both the guitar and drums in church and in camps.I was involved in a christian homeschooling choir and Christian Contemporary rock band (playing the drums) called Joyful Sounds. Our band performed in several areas near downtown Houston.

I have picked up the piano on my own as well, which I play for my own band that I started and at a church ministry in Hutchinson Kansas. I am currently working on a solo gospel project for myself and also have started a Christian Rock Band which is still a work in progress. My dream is to become a Christian Artist, and to do ministry outreach in my travels. I'm not a huge fan of the classical music I was taught in highschool and prefer to teach more modern genres of music. 

On a personal note, I was adopted at seventeen and I got married at eighteen to my wonderful husband Eric Byrnes who is very supportive in my dreams and passions. Last year, I found my biological mom and got to fly out and see her. It certainly turned out life changing. We were able to reunite and establish a great relationship! I recently just found my biological dad whom I will be meeting around Christmas this year in Houston TX! My life has definitely been a roller coaster. I've been through so much and through it all I have found happiness in God, family, and through music!
