A native of Charleston, South Carolina, this formidable talent has earned first place at the state level of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS), second place regionally, and second place nationally—a testament to dedication and vocal prowess. Featured on the Charleston Opera Theatre roster, Xavierbrings operatic excellence to audiences throughout the region. A staff singer at the historic St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Charleston, SC, this accomplished countertenor enriches the sacred music tradition. Further expanding artistic reach,founded Aria Amore, a premier ensemble of wedding opera singers, dedicated to “Unveiling the Opera of Your Love.” Achievements extend beyond competitions and professional engagements. Honors include winning the 2021 District and State levels of NATS, placing second nationally, and receiving the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions Gene Ferguson Encouragement Award. A finalist in the 2011 International Meistersinger Competition in Graz, Austria,also received specialized training under internationally acclaimed soprano Heidi Skok at the RESONANZ Albany Singer Intensive Festival in New York.
