Hi there! I’m Cecilia, a voice teacher and performer with over 20 years of experience helping singers of all ages and levels. I’ve sung on stages around the world and love sharing everything I’ve learned along the way. I hold a Master’s in Voice Pedagogy and have recorded two CDs and published two books on Mexican Art Song — a style I’m deeply passionate about. I also ran my own music school for over two decades, so I know how to guide students step by step toward real progress. My teaching style is friendly, encouraging, and always focused on helping you feel confident and connected to your voice. Whether you're dreaming of the stage or just want to sing for fun, I’d love to work with you!

What to expect in my Vocal Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
Students can expect a warm, supportive, and structured environment where their unique voice is valued and developed. On the first day, we’ll begin with a vocal assessment — a friendly analysis of your voice, range, habits, and goals — to create a personalized plan. From there, each lesson is tailored to your needs, combining vocal technique, repertoire, expression, and theory. I focus on steady progress, clear communication, and helping you feel confident, expressive, and inspired.
What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
Get ready for relaxed, fun lessons where you’ll learn solid piano basics—proper hand position, reading notes, rhythm—mixed with music you actually enjoy playing. We’ll start at your level (total beginner to more advanced) and move at your pace, mixing technique drills with songs each week so you can hear your progress. Expect plenty of encouragement, tips for practicing smarter (not longer), a bit of easy music theory, and lots of high-fives when you nail a new piece!
