She began playing bass at the age of 14 and continued her education by enrolling at The University of the Arts, and finishing her degree at Drexel University '25. Her musical influences include a variety of different genres and styles, from pop to jazz. Mikey 's favorite thing about music is the connection it brings to people, and her favorite thing about teaching music is getting to inspire kids.
