Hi, my name is Tré and I am a Saxophonist from St. Louis. I have been a student of music for 8 years. My musical influences include more progressive jazz musicians such as Braxton Cook, Charles Mingus, and Roy Hargrove, just to name a few. However, I also enjoy the pioneers, like Charlie Parker, Dexter Gordon, and Hank Mobley. My teaching style can best be described as student-led. I'm here to help you learn the things YOU want, and to learn how to play the music YOU like. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I aim to give you the tools to expressive yourself in whatever way as fluently as possible. In my lessons, you can expect to learn saxophone sound and technique fundementals, music theory, and new approaches to improv based on your skill level. My favorite thing about teaching is fostering a deep love and appreciation for not just jazz, but all types of music.
