Hi! I'm a guitarist based in Coral Gables, currently studying Jazz at the Frost School of Music. While Jazz has been my favorite music since I was a teenager, I've taken lessons from it and applied them to all different genres, spanning Pop, Rock, Blues and more. Across all my experience, I've come to truly believe that the feeling one gets from playing music proficiently is unlike any other, and everyone should get to experience it. I want to help you find that rewarding feeling of improving at your craft and learning to play the music you love. As a player, I've earned national recognition from prestigious organizations like Downbeat Magazine and Jazz Aspen. I get to spend my time traveling all across the state, playing great music with fantastic bandmates for energetic crowds. Life as a working musician has given me experiences I never could've imagined otherwise. As a teacher, I want to give you the tools to practice most effectively, avoiding common pitfalls and enjoying the process. Understanding the reasoning behind what we do can make a complex instrument like the guitar suddenly much less overwhelming. Basically, I teach the things I wish someone had told me sooner!
