Mark is a Musician of exceptional ability.He has gained recognition on the regional,national and international level.His talents have been featured in such publications as Guitar Player and Guitar World Magazines.He was twice voted best musician in the upstate of South Carolina by Creative Loafing Magazine.His last band was with Steve Tobin,featured in Modern Drummer,now touring with Carnivore.A great drummer to check out on the web.Marks mother taught piano,and his father was a guitarist.Mark started on piano at age six,at 11,Played his wedding,at 13 got a job playing piano at the Greenville Country club.Six years later his focus shifted to guitar,and after graduating from college,He practiced an average of 10 hours a day,and was fortunate enough to receive instruction from Jazz Great Tim Haden,who's played with Stanley Clarke,Stevie Wonder,George Benson.Tim Haden regarded mark as his no. 1 student
