Hi, my name is Mason and I am a musician from California. I have been a student of music for 12 years. My musical influences include Grateful Dead, Led Zeppelin, Frank Zappa, Neil Young and I also enjoy Traffic. My teaching style can best be described as hands on and thorough, while making sure fun is a priority without it taking away from the lesson. In my lessons, you can expect to learn the very basics, or intermediate techniques. I like to tell my students that time and practice are the key to success, as cliche as they may sound. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing progress in a student. My favorite performance was. My students love that I make seemingly convoluted concepts easy to understand. I primarily teach guitar, but I can also teach minimal keyboard/piano. My approach as a teacher is to make sure every concept is fully understood, without overwhelming the students.
