Hi, my name is Zachary and I am from New Mexico originally, but I moved to the Houston area recently. I have been a student of music for 15 years. My teaching style can best be described as easy to learn from. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I care about my craft. In my lessons, you can expect to learn how to play from sight and hearing. I like to tell my students that you can accomplish anything through perseverance and hard-work. My favorite thing about teaching is watching my student achieving more than what they set their sights on. My favorite performance was State Band Contest my senior year. My students love that I joke around and have fun with the lessons. I primarily teach Guitar and Mandolin, but I can also teach Euphonium, Tuba, Trumpet, and Ukulele. My approach as a teacher is to get a grasp of initial skill level then work my way up from there personalizing the lesson plan for each individual. Thanks for taking a look at my profile.
