Michael began playing guitar at the age of 13. Over the years, he developed his skills further by performing in multiple bands through high school and thereafter. He gained performance experience in the Columbus area by playing at such venues as Alrosa Villa and Newport. Most of his performance experience comes from the many years of playing with various church groups since he was 16. Though Michael can teach many different genres of music, his musical personal favorites are 90’s to modern rock and pop, which continue to have great influence on his style of playing. Michael loves music because he believes that music can take people places that other entertainment mediums simply cannot.
