John has always loved music from an early age. He began learning in the womb because his Mom took drum lessons before he was born! & learned to play drums as a baby and began singing as well but started taking Guitar & Piano classes with various teachers since 5 years old & Singing to warm up his ears on piano off and on but his mom took drums lessons so he would listen and watch her practice because that’s her passion & she herself is a piano teacher and his step dad Pete Perez who is a Bass player that toured all around the world and played and taught Bass & Guitar to John but continued his education by 12 years old with “The Musical Arts Center of San Antonio” His musical influences include Country, Blues, Bluegrass, Jazz, Reggae, Rock&Roll, Heavy Metal, HIP-HOP & Corridos. John's favorite thing about music is the passion and his favorite thing about teaching music is watching what he helped create.
