Hi, my name is Dallin and I am a violist, violinist, vocalist, bassist and pianist from Kansas. I have been a student of music for 18 years. My musical influences include classical but I also enjoy contemporary. My teaching style can best be described as driving and friendly. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I encourage students to be passionate learners. In my lessons, you can expect to learn how to be a better musician and to unlock your potential success at your instrument. I like to tell my students that they can accomplish anything if they try hard enough and they can be a great musician. My favorite thing about teaching is helping people reach new ground and helping them love their instrument more. My favorite performance was playing an orchestra concert in Edelweiss, Germany but also singing in “La Clemenza di Tito” at BYUi! My students love that I am friendly but still encourage them to reach new ground. I primarily teach strings and vocals, but I can also teach piano and electric bass.
