Gary has always loved music from an early age. He began playing piano at the age of 6 and continued his education by getting his BA in music from Mary Baldwin University. His musical influences include classical and contemporary. Gary was a pianist and musical director for a cast of the world famous performing group “Up With People”. Currently, Gary is the music director at Verona United Methodist Church, and has played piano and directed choirs for over 14 years. Gary 's favorite thing about music is the ability to connect with an audience and his favorite thing about teaching music is that music is something that brings people together.
