Hi! My name is Kal, and I I love music because it brings people together! I also love teaching music because I get to help others find their own voice. For me, it’s not just about learning scales or reading notes — it’s about giving people the tools to express themselves, create, and connect. That’s why I focus so much on improvisation and composition in my teaching. I want my students to feel confident making music their own — to experiment, play, and write their own ideas, not just follow what’s on the page. I teach many different instruments, which means I can meet students where they are and help them grow in whatever direction they’re excited about. More than anything, I want every person I work with to feel uplifted, supported, and inspired to be their best self — both as a musician and as an artist.
