Hi! My name is Yuval and I am a Musician from San Diego, California. I have been a student of music for 9 years. My musical influences include Pat Metheny and Jaco Pastorious, and I also enjoy Rhythm n Blues. My teaching style can best be described as Fun. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I make sure the student is playing what they want to play. In my lessons, you can expect to learn How to Walk, See Patterns on the fretboard, and Scales Scales Scales! I like to tell my students Practice something challenging. My favorite thing about teaching is Hearing new music. Out of performances, I'd Say anything on the Emmet Cohen Youtube channel, Those live-streams helped Jazz in the 21st century like no other spectacle! My students love that I make sure we have fun AND learn! I primarily teach a broad scope of topics on the electric bass,, but I can also teach specific genres, as well as composition and theory.
