Hi, my name is Christopher and I am a singer, guitarist and songwriter from Boston, MA. I have been a student of music for 30 years. My musical influences include Chris Stapleton, Bob Dylan and Ed Sheeran and I also enjoy Lynyrd Skynyrd. My teaching style can best be described as critical listening applied step by step. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I listen, hear, analyze, apply, and understand. In my lessons, you can expect to learn to play in your own way what you hear in your own ear. I like to tell my students that music is all about listening, both to others and to yourself. My favorite thing about teaching is watching my students bloom like a beautiful flower. My favorite performance was singing and playing on a beautiful farm during a flower picking event near Nashville. My students love that I care about them both as a person and as a musician. I primarily teach guitar and vocals, but I can also teach bass. My approach as a teacher is to create a supportive and uplifting environment so the student can thrive.
