Hi, my name is Jordan and I am a guitar/piano player from Queens NY. I have been a student of music for 8 years. My musical influences include Elton John, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Micheal Jackson, Aventura, Bach etc. and I also enjoy Slipknot. My teaching style can best be described as very outgoing and interactive. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I guide my students to the best of their abilities. In my lessons, you can expect to learn how to count time, read music and improvise. I like to tell my students music is only as fun as you make it, meaning I know practicing can feel like a chore but my job is to get you playing that practicing will become really fun and it will apply to the rest of your music career outside of practicing. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing my students faces light up when they accomplish something. My favorite performance was my college recital, I felt so free. My students love that I have such a passion for teaching and it greatly reflects on the kind of person I am. I primarily teach guitar, but I can also teach piano.
