SJ began playing piano at the age of four. Over the years, she developed her skills further by practicing and pershing music daily over the years. She gained performance experience in the woodstock/canton area by playing at such venues as mad life, reformation brewery, and small venues and big too, and with acts such as playing alongside other musicians, preforming originals, connecting with people and sharing her passion of music and the depth it has. Though sj can teach many different genres of music, her musical personal favorites are deep and cinematic, grasping you from not just the words in the vocals, but the emotion music can bring alone, which had great influence on her style of playing and producing music. sj loves music because it says things words when speaking can’t, and loves teaching music because she can share how to express and feel deeper through doing so.
