Hi, my name is Anthony and I am a guitar teacher and performer from Charlotte NC, I have been a student of music for over 15 years. My musical influences include classic rock, r&b, folk, funk, reggae and I also enjoy some country. My teaching style can best be described as fun and energetic with an easy going laid back approach. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I believe music is a powerful gift and should be taught to any one willing to learn. In my lessons, you can expect to learn basic chords and technique, strum patterns, as well as different scales and all basic intro beginner skills, and depending on the students skill level any songs he/she would like to play. I like to tell my students anything is possible as long as you practice hard and stay dedicated to the craft. My favorite thing about teaching is being able to connect and bond with people through music by sharing my knowledge of the guitar. My favorite performance was playing at UNC Charlotte for a competition winning first place and bringing home the prize money. My students love that I am patient, innovative and can make the learning environment a fun experience. I primarily teach classic rock, but I can also teach most all genres. My approach as a teacher is to make all students feel at home with their instrument and make the learning process as fun and easy as possible. Thanks for taking a look at my profile.
