Gigiis an LA-based composer, singer, multi-instrumentalist and educator. Having written and played music for over 30 years, she is looking forward to sharing her knowledge and guiding students of all ages and backgrounds to find their own creative voices, just as so many teachers have done for her.

What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
A super fun lesson tailored to each student! We can learn the songs you love, learn to improvise, and even learn to write your own songs, it's totally up to you. It's good to introduce technique o prevent bad habits, but this can be done creatively and in bite-sized chunks. Note and rhythm reading, music theory, ear training, and practice techniques can all be included depending on the student's interests and goals. What's essential is to find what brings the student joy and build from there. I'm excited to meet you!
What to expect in my Vocal Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
A super fun lesson tailored to each student! We can learn the songs you love, learn to improvise, and even learn to write your own songs, it's totally up to you. Performing Experience:
Classical piano performance 5+ years in academic settings, jazz piano also in academic settings. Wedding singer. Various rock performance, singing lead and harmonies, playing synth and guitar and some drums all over LA/SF--The Troubadour, The Vine, The Silverlake Lounge (now the Satellite), Flower Space, various galleries and warehouse spaces, parties. Opened for groups like the Silversun PIckups and Brian Jonestown Massacre (neo-psych band).
