I am a motivated and resourceful Army Veteran who aims to inspire the next generation of musicians and thereafter to hone their skills and pursue their musical aspirations. I have a vast knowledge of music performance, music theory, and the history of music from both my education and experience at the high school and collegiate levels. My enthusiasm for music is what propels me to creatively deliver instruction that will enhance the educational music experience of my future students. I am a recently retired Air Defense Artillery Officer serving nearly ten years, which gives me unique skills to effectively structure and deliver information to any audience. My military experience has prepared me to have the emotional intelligence, discipline, patience, and care it takes to be a successful and effective teacher at any program I join. The Army is one of the largest and most diverse organizations in the country and is mission/goal oriented, but Soldier/people driven. The Army has afforded me the opportunity to train, coach, and mentor over 500 Soldiers and Officers in three countries and several states throughout my career and I have what it takes to turn any program or person into its best version of itself.
