I’m a retired music professor living in the mountains of East Tennessee. I am a vigorous 72 years old and have been teaching music since I was 18.

In my life, I have had the privilege to perform onstage with such artists as John Hartford, Doc Watson, Raymond Fairchild and others.

I retired after 35 years of teaching at a number of colleges and universities, including Pfeiffer University and Gardner-Webb University.
