Hi! I’m Cassie, a drummer and music educator with over 16 years of experience performing and teaching across genres like rock, jazz, punk, metal, and classical. I studied at Interlochen Arts Academy and the University of Michigan, and I’m passionate about helping students of all ages develop their own musical voice through creativity, confidence, and solid technique. In addition to drums, I also teach sound synthesis and music production using Logic Pro and Ableton Live. After recovering from a serious wrist and forearm injury that required carpal tunnel surgery, I’ve developed a strong focus on healthy technique and injury prevention—something I incorporate into every lesson to support long-term, sustainable playing. Whether you’re just getting started or looking to take your skills to the next level, I offer a personalized, encouraging approach to help you reach your goals and grow as an artist.
