Hi, my name is Tommy, I am a drummer from Lubbock Texas. I have been a student of music for over 25 years. My musical influences include bands like Tool, Jinjer, and Archspire but I also enjoy classical music and other genres. My teaching style can best be described as growth focused. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I am an eternal student but am happy to share knowledge to advance your drumming faster. In my lessons, you can expect to learn how to implement steps to better achieve your drumming goals. I like to tell my students that in order to have what others dont you have to do what others wont. My favorite thing about teaching is witnessing growth and the joy that brings people. My favorite performance was playing large local venue with a Zac Brown Tribute Band a few years back. What to expect in my Drum Lessons

Students can expect to learn how to set up up their drum set ergonomicly, tune them as needed, and develop tactics to achieve their own drumming goals. Hopefully my experience can save someone time in their drumming adventure.
