Music has always been a special part of my life. I believe strongly in the healing powers of music and it’s ability to mend wounds, spiritually, socially and emotionally. I started out playing Rock and Blues guitar with the Allman Brothers and Stevie Ray Vaughan as huge influences. Then in high school started getting in to Jazz and I fell in love. I am very much a music theory nerd and I always incorporate that into my lessons. But Don’t worry, I make it fun! I feel like the more someone understands music, the deeper their relationship with music is. In college I studied jazz guitar performance at Mira Costa, and started playing Bass. Bass I feel like is the harmonic foundation of any group and that interests me a lot. I enjoy teaching just as much as I enjoy playing, it fulfills a deep need I have inside of me. I taught at Oceanside School Of Rock 2021 to 2024 and then moved to the Del mar location. I’ve had so much fun over the years with school of Rock, butI also want to branch out and explore new opportunities. IFurthermore, I get the opportunity to do this with Taylor Robinson Music, it really would be a privilege!
