I grew up in a musical family. My mom played piano, my dad played violin, and we all sang. I took 5 years of professional piano lessons from a German instructor. I understand basic music theory, sight reading, fingering, and chords. I took 6 months of guitar and can teach basic chords and chord structure to get you started! I sang in the Centralia College Choir while I was a student there and I also sang 6 years with Joysong Victorian Carolers, an a cappella group that holds concerts and sings in nursing homes during Christmas time. I have dabbled in violin, recorder, and bagpipes as well. Music has been a huge part of my life and upbringing and I love being able to share my experience and expertise with others!
