What to expect in my Guitar Lessons

Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced

In our lessons, you’ll develop strong technique while building your own musical voice. I focus on fingerstyle guitar—rhythm, melody, and harmony played together—drawing from African traditions and global fingerpicking approaches. Whether you're a beginner or advanced, I tailor each session to your pace and goals. You’ll learn through songs, patterns, and exercises that build coordination, confidence, and creativity. Expect a relaxed environment, honest feedback, and music that means something to you. We’ll cover: Fingerpicking techniques Rhythm and groove Song arrangements Composition and storytelling How to practice effectively Lessons can be purely technical or deeply personal. Some students come to play better; others use music for expression and healing. Wherever you're starting, I’ll meet you there.
