Justin began playing 28 years ago at the age of 4. Over the years, he developed his skills further by taking piano lessons in studios, private lessons from teachers homes, and studying with piano professors during his junior high and high school years. He gained performance experience in the classical, modern, popular, and choral areas by playing at such venues as churches, school productions, and recitals. Though Justin can teach many genres of music, his musical personal favorites are classical, neoclassicism, and hymnals arranged for piano solos, which had great influence on his style of playing. Justin loves music because it serves as a universal language that tells stories and sends messages to those who hear, and loves teaching music because of its educational value in preparing students for real-world application of community, cooperation, coordination, and understanding the value of peers and helping others to succeed.
