Darryl began playing guitar at the age of 13. Over the years, he developed his skills further by playing trombone in the school band. He gained performance experience in the Atlanta area by playing at such venues as Oglethorpe College and with acts such as The Atlanta Rhythm Section. Though Darryl can teach many different genres of music, his musical personal favorites are classic rock guitarists which had great influence on his style of playing. Darryl loves music because it is such a stress reliever and loves teaching music because learning to entertain is a blessing.
