Jacob has always loved music from an early age. He began playing guitar in 6th grade by taking lessons and continued his education independently after a few months. His musical influences include Alex G, Elliot Smith, J Mascis, and Nels Cline. Jacob's favorite thing about music is how easy a creative outlet it can become for people and how collaborative it can be. His favorite thing about teaching music is watching a student have something click after putting in the effort to get there.
