Patton began playing the trumpet at the age of 13. Over the years, he developed his skills further by playing in the jazz band, concert band, pep band, and marching band over the course of 11 years. He gained performance experience in the North Bend and San Diego area by playing at such venues like the University of San Diego. Though Patton can teach many different genres of music, his musical personal favorites are marching band songs which had great influence on his style of playing. Patton loves music because it's awesome to learn and loves teaching music because he wants other to enjoy the awesomeness of playing the trumpet!
