About Me

Hello there! I have been a passionate educator and leader since early high school, where I was a dedicated member of the marching band who was selected as drum major to lead the band in rehearsals and performances. I also served as a student counselor multiple times for Northwest Outdoor Science school where I led students in educational outdoor activities every day for a week, engaging with younger students as both a teacher and friendly mento. In addition, I attended two years of the nationally renowned Scott Reese Leadership Camp. After graduating high school with an advanced diploma, I have pursued music education diligently at Pacific University under the direction of Dr. Michael Burch-Pesses, Dr. Dijana Ihas, Dr. Rick Greenwood, and many more amazing faculty. I have served as a section leader in multiple ensembles, tutored students in music history and theory as well as writing which I have minored in, and grown more musically and pedagogically than I ever would have imagined. I am committed to never stop growing as a musician, an educator, a leader, and a forever learner myself. Let's have some fun and make some music together!
