Review About Me
My first experience with music was when I learned to play the recorder through a city program at age 5. I learned piano at age 6 and then started on the violin and later viola in elementary school. After that, I moved to clarinet, which I still play to this day. I love to help others of all ages experience the joy and fulfillment that comes with playing an instrument. I really enjoy helping people get started and then guiding them to reach their full potential.

Beginner - Intermediate
Besides learning how to play compositions, which I like to help you select, you will learn about music theory. You will also do plenty of technical exercises that help with the finger strength and agility.
Formal Education:
I started as a music major fresh out of high school, but then life took me in a different direction. Six years ago, I decided it was time to go back there and I received my undergraduate in Music Performance from University of North Florida in 2022.
Performing Experience:
I have played with several community groups throughout the years.
Experience Teaching:
I was fortunate to teach group piano, violin and recorder lessons in after school programs in Jacksonville, Florida from 2 through a philanthropic outreach program. I also taught through the community enrichment program in St. Augustine. It was through those classes that I got my first private students and thanks to referrals, that part of my teaching experience started to grow. I have also been teaching in a music school since 2022.
