Hi, my name is Dylan and I am a Guitar teacher from Charleston. I have been a student of music for 6 years. My musical influences include Jimi Hendrix, Stevie ray Vaughan, and Marcus King and I also enjoy Mateus Asato. My teaching style can best be described as practical. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I don’t want to just teach to emulate but to create your own works based off the things you learn. In my lessons, you can expect to learn songs, music theory, and finding your voice on the instrument. I like to tell my students that practice can also just be play. My favorite thing about teaching is opening up new ideas to create. My students love that I like to teach any kind of music. I primarily teach blues, but I can also teach rock, country, and neo-soul.
