For 20 plus years I taught at people’s homes / Rieman Music / Indian Creek Country Club / my home many genres classical to contemporary and variety of age groups child to adult how to read music / accompany themselves / perform off the page with musical understanding of technique and artistry shown and perform at recital / or in school public performance / critiques / contest as well.

What to expect in my Bass Guitar Lessons

Beginner - Intermediate

An understanding taught in reading notes, rhythms, phrasing, diaphragm support, with interpretation of the words and expression and technique taught as well. Melody and harmony how this relates to chords (accompaniment) and phrasing, Melody, harmony, interpretation, phrases, breathing technique, artistry and technique and how this relates to the words and meaning expressing these all very well to relay a “story line” with “conviction.” Keyboard / piano teaching technique / artistry / phrasing / note reading in a variety of styles of classical-contemporary having understanding of the music with phrases, notes, artistry and technique able to present a complete piece with music or memorized as option. Guitar / learning a quick method of chords and short pieces of music of popular music as an option or note by note reading with chords from a method book to learn music and perform. Bass guitar learning individual notes, with variety of rhythms and artistry / technique / dynamics to present a piece of music from methods and / or popular music.

Drake U graduate ‘00 in applied instrumental flute and piano with methods in guitar and voice

Performing Experience:

At final jury performed a concerto for piano by Beethoven at Union and at jury of Drake U performed a variety of repertoire from Hindemith / Telemann / Mozart / Kuhlau / French Composers repertoire Chaminade
