Mallory began playing piano at age 9, discovering an early passion for learning songs by ear. She soon started formal lessons in Tacoma, WA, and continued to nurture her talent through the years. Her dedication led her to an arts-focused high school SOTA and eventually to Western Washington University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in music with a focus on classical piano. Throughout her musical journey, Mallory gained valuable performance experience across Washington—playing in restaurants, accompanying at weddings, serving as a church pianist, and teaching lessons catered to both children and adults. While she’s well-versed in teaching a variety of musical styles, her personal favorites are classical and pop, both of which strongly influence her playing and teaching style and are shaped by classical theory. Mallory views music as a powerful form of connection and creativity. Whether through songwriting, improv, or mastering technical pieces, she encourages students to explore music in ways that are both fun and inspiring. No matter your skill level—beginner or experienced—Mallory is eager to help you grow as a musician and reach your personal goals.
