Hello hello! Great to meet ya! From a very young age I always knew that I had a deep passion and connection to the performing arts. Something about the way a musical tune could instantly create a bond between people, and provide the ultimate outlet for emotional expression. In high school I participated in many select choirs, orchestras as second chair violin, NYSSMA group and solo competitions for voice, and assisted as a piano accompanist. Graduating from SUNY Potsdam with a Bachelors of Arts in Theatre, I was able to take multiple classes in music education, covering advanced music theory, music history, conducting, keyboarding & vocal tecniques. As well as having the opportunity to perform in multiple musical choirs and on-stage productions with a focus in the classical, pop, jazz and musical theatre genres. My teaching philosophy is heavily constructed around musical expression, and how to emotionally connect with the music in order to produce the best performance. It is imperative that the student thoroughly enjoys the process, and learns practice techniques that makes it fun, and promotes long term motivation. I'm very excited to get to know you, and bring you to your musical best!

Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
I like to give my students a small questionnaire on their music theory and playing abilities in order to properly formulate a personalized curriculum. Depending on the student's goals, I will gradually implement practice on the skillsets needed to achieve them with ease. What to expect in my Vocal Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
Singing is joyous! And I like to cater my vocal lessons heavily on what makes the student the most comfortable. The lessons I teach are absolutely judgement free, and mistakes/growth is 100% encouraged. I know what it feels like to struggle with vocal control, so let's work through it together! Depending on the student's goals, I will gradually implement practice on the skillsets needed to achieve them with ease. What to expect in my Orchestral Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
It is said that the Violin is one of the hardest instruments to learn, but I will be able to help you avoid the frustrations that often comes with playing this historic instrument. I always say that the Violin takes patience, and lots and lots practice! But once you understand this basic concept, the rest is quite simple. Depending on the student's goals, I will gradually implement practice on the skillsets needed to achieve them with ease. Skills can include: -Intonation -Treble Clef Reading -Performance Confidence -Hand Eye Coordination -Finger Dexterity -Bowing Technique -Musical Interpretation
