Tamika “Tee Jay” Singer/Songwriter/Actor Tamika “Tee Jay”, has earned her place in the entertainment industry as a “first call” for the likes of Sheila E., Lauryn Hill, Jon B., Norman Brown, Kenny Lattimore, Chante Moore, Fred Hammond, and a host of other artists in the realm of R&B, jazz, and gospel. A true daughter of Motown, she honed her formidable talent under the watchful eye of her father, Theo, the only man to ever sing lead for both the Four Tops and Temptations.  Tamika began her career with a vocal appearance on the renowned Hidden Beach “Unwrapped” series. Shortly after, she was offered her first bgv gig. In 2005, Tamika began singing backing vocals for R&B/Hip Hop legend, Lauryn Hill. From 2012 to 2020, she had the pleasure of performing  in two shows – Five & Dime and Minnie’s Flygirls-at Disney California Adventure in Anaheim, CA, while continuing her work with Kenny Lattimore. More recently, Ms. “Tee Jay” was a featured vocalist in Cirque du Soleil’s “Mad Apple” show; during her tenure, she became a crowd favorite.  She’s even made a foray into musical theater, playing Anna of Cleaves in a special rendition of the Broadway show, “The Six” this past fall.
