I started playing guitar about the age of 15 when my uncle taught me the basic chords, barre chords and a few riffs. Beyond that, I’ve picked everything else up my watching others and asking for direction. Some will tell you I have a natural talent for the guitar, and there may be some truth to that-my family does have quite a number of musicians so talent runs in the family. However, I’ll tell anyone I’m teaching, that I can show and teach you all the cool things to know on the guitar, but if you’re not regularly practicing almost every day, you will not improve. Music is a beautiful thing, and with the knowledge I can bestow on you and with perseverance, you can harness that beauty yourself. It can be such a thrill and I would love to take you on that ride.
